Pergatech was founded by Volkan Emre and Mehmet Yildirim in 2016.
Volkan is a seasoned project management and finance professional and entrepreneur based in Minneapolis. As a product lead, Volkan is responsible for the overall management of the Pergatech team, business development, and financial oversight and R&D partnerships and strategy.
Volkan is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), he holds a master's in international and development economics from HTW Berlin, a master's in financial economics from Istanbul Bilgi University, and a bachelor's in public finance from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. Volkan has Financial Management, Project Leadership and Measuring and Improving Business Performance certificates from Cornell University. He speaks Turkish, English, German and Farsi.
Mehmet is a computer vision scientist based in Berlin, Germany. He drives the technical innovation and manages the software development team as the CTO of Pergatech. Mehmet has experience of working at Germany's leading research institutions Frauenhofer Society and German Aerospace Center (DLR). He is currently pursuing his PhD in Computer Vision at Humboldt University of Berlin. He holds a master's degree in Systems Engineering from Technical University Berlin. Mehmet speaks Turkish, English and German.
